Pasta Cooking Tips
- Use a large enough pot so your pasta doesn't stick together.
- Salt your water aggressively. Not sure how much? Taste it! We use about a tablespoon of Diamond Crystal Kosher salt per quart of water.
- Remove your pasta from the water before it's totally al dente and SAVE YOUR PASTA WATER!
- Fresh pasta cooks in about 2 minutes. Dried pasta takes 6 minutes or more.
- Finish your pasta in your sauce with a ladleful of pasta water.

We decided to order a 6 pack and see how long it lasted. Everyone loves pasta in our house! It's been about 2 weeks and we're down to the last box, it lasted longer than I anticipated for sure! The fan favorite is the fusilli and both sizes of shells. Soup was the #1 user of the pasta, it was cold and rainy out. We also made some quick stovetop dinners by making a homemade pasta sauce and adding the dry pasta to the pot with some additional water, so quick and easy. We're going to order another box today and if the usage keeps up, we're going to make it a subscription!
